Program
AIDS Project Greater Danbury has been serving persons living with HIV/AIDS since 1987 in response to the growing need for housing and support services for persons living with HIV/AIDS in the area. AIDS Project Greater Danbury operates a five bed group residence and a scattered site housing program in Danbury. AIDS Project Greater Danbury provides a continuum of services to persons living with HIV/AIDS through the utilization of case management and residential services which provide a comprehensive needs assessment and coordination of community resources that address the bio-psychosocial needs of each client.

Mission
The mission of AIDS Project Greater Danbury is to advocate for and provide supportive services to people living with HIV/AIDS, their families and loved ones. The mission of the Residential Program is to provide a non-discriminatory, healthy, safe, accepting environment that offers housing, case management and other support services for persons living with HIV/AIDS.

Population Served
AIDS Project Greater Danbury operates a five bed group residence for men and women living with HIV/AIDS. The scattered site program is designed to serve individuals living with HIV/AIDS and their families. Applicants must be clean upon admission or be enrolled in an appropriate drug treatment program. AIDS Project Greater Danbury gives primary consideration to individuals in the Greater Danbury area, but will serve those outside of this geographic area.
